A NOVEL IFEC BUSINESS
FOR A LARGE INDUSTRIAL CONGLOMERATE

64WEST Identified and developed a new business proposal targeting a novel IFEC Market.
The proposal aggregated multiple divisions of an industrial conglomerate towards an integrated IFEC product, with an objective to grow new user communities. The initial concept got approved by the conglomerate’s innovation board, and 64WEST was tasked to lead the development of a complete business case.

• Developed partnerships with Aircraft Manufacturers, Tier one suppliers and a launch Airline.
• Developed and delivered a pitch to promote the concept and gain support across Business Divisions
• Developed early prototypes for testing with select prosumers in confidence
• Detailed production, delivery plan and ops concept
• Identified additional growth opportunities and sidekick businesses derived from the initial concept
• Coordinated the development of the proposal aggregating business, marketing and technology contributions
• Focal point to/from the conglomerates’s innovation board

• Teamed with airline's legal and purchasing department to develop the contract and agree to final terms

ATG BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

64WEST joined with a large Telco to assess the development of an ATG network aiming at providing reliable and affordable internet access to a large regional market
• Developed an innovative spectrum management technique and produced IP documentation
• Raised seed capital. Built a senior advisory board and leadership team.
• Engaged with European regulators (CEPT, European Commission, ANFR) to validate the spectrum
• Developed full Technical proposal, ground infrastructure and on board terminals
• Developed full business case, raised initial interest from Airlines
• Engaged at C level & performed due diligence with pan European mobile telecom companies, satellite operators, and aerospace equipment manufacturers to discuss joint venture agreement.
