My name is Philippe THIBAUD.

I provide management consulting services under my company 64WEST, to aircraft manufacturers, airlines, and other aerospace service providers.

For over a decade, I've been an Entrepreneur and Advisor in the aviation industry, with a focus on bridging the gap between digital technologies on the ground and in the air

Before joining the Aerospace industry, I worked in media technology, managing the integration of newsrooms and studio systems for broadcast television. I still consult in this industry occasionally.

My career has been diverse and evolving, and I've gained experience in a variety of sectors, including aviation, satellite and air-to-ground operators, cloud and IT platform companies, and media technologies.

This gives me a unique position to imagine new opportunities connecting industries that may not otherwise interact.
Most innovations nose to tail were born from these bridges, and I have the chance to participate in them.

I've developed strong relationships with C-level executives and board members at airlines, OEMs, satellite operators, telecom companies, digital media, and content giants. I've also worked with national and European regulatory bodies (CE, CEPT, and the European Parliament) to develop new regulatory frameworks for in-flight innovations.
•
With an entrepreneurial spirit, I initiated two grassroots startups specializing in Air-To-Ground communications and digital aircraft platforms, enabling airlines to develop their own airborne applications using standard IT.

I graduated from the Ecole des Mines d'Ales, France with a Msc in Computer Science and Digital Networks
